Hotel J Pattaya

I left my suitcase at the hotel entrance, and the staff immediately took care of it for me. Check-in was quick. The pool area impressed me with its quietness and cleanliness. The pool's depth of 1.5 meters was perfect. I also enjoyed the fact that there were plenty of lounging chairs available. The kids' pool featured a gentle slide and lots of floating toys, which my kids loved. Walking to downtown only took 20 minutes, and Terminal 21 mall was a pleasant stop on the way. Though the hotel was clean, I noticed the bar was closed, leading to a quiet atmosphere at night. I must point out the room had issues. The hot water was barely lukewarm . I'd recommend it for the pool and room cleanliness, but some service improvements are definitely needed.

We liked this place - pleasant hotel.

The location was magnificent, for example, Dolphin Roundabout was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. Moreover, it's right by Central Shopping mall and shopping areas within walking distance and Thailand😀

Nice pool area with decent views. Rooms clean and spacious enough for solo travelers.

Hot water situation in the shower-barely lukewarm, not ideal for a morning pick-me-up. Overall ambiance of the hotel feels tired, especially in certain areas. Stains on ceilings and poor upkeep of wooden fixtures. Breakfast lacked variety and ended abruptly at 10 am with lights and air conditioning shut off.

We were checked into a Deluxe room rather the a J Deluxe which i had paid for. When i queried this i was told that there was no difference between the 2 styles of rooms. After some discussion i was moved to the J Deluxe room that i had paid for which truely had very little difference. In fact the only difference was being on a higher floor and getting slippers and a dressing gown. For me the extra cost of the J Deluxe rom is not worth it! Besides this the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room is a good size, comfortable and is cleaned daily well. The Wifi connection is very good and excellent signal most of the time. The hotel location is OK with food and shops close by.

The pool was not well thought out and shuld have been on the roof top. The pool was shadowed by the hotel building and got little sun so the water was far too cold. The hotel did not provide an Iron and we had to make a fuss about this before the found one for us to use. Breakfast had little choice.

Location: the hotel was near Thailand and shopping areas within walking distance and other shopping malls.

Facilities were good, though Wi-Fi was bad.

A pleasant surprise at poolside

The pool area at Hotel J Pattaya was a good escape, with ample lounging chairs and a gentle slide for the kids. The spacious rooms contributed to a relaxing stay.

Check-in was frustrating as our room was not ready until an hour past the expected time. Staff responsiveness was lacking, especially during peak hours.

Had a great time relaxing at the pool, which was perfect with its sunny spots and plenty of chairs for lounging. The kids especially enjoyed the gentle slide and the floating toys in their own little pool area. It was only a short walk to the beach front and the popular Terminal 21 for some shopping. Although the hotel didn’t have nightlife, the quiet atmosphere was nice for unwinding after a busy day exploring the nearby attractions like Art in Paradise and the Amazing Art Museum.

Value Stay with Friendly Service!

Fantastic staff always went the extra mile. The clean rooms were surprisingly spacious for our kids, and the pool area was a lovely retreat. Tip, Arrive early for breakfast to enjoy a comfortable dining experience before the rush!

I appreciated the pool area for relaxation after a busy day exploring. My family enjoyed everything the city had to offer, and I would definitely return.

The hotel had a "modern and contemporary" design, perfect for those who like their accommodation as simple as possible. I enjoyed the variety of dishes offered at the on-site restaurant and bar, from traditional Thai to Western favorites. The location was ideal for any reason I traveled to the city. The free high-speed wireless internet was a bonus, as well as the complimentary shuttle service to Central.

The service mind of the staff was lacking. Oh well, maybe next time they can work on their friendliness.

Great views and awesome location near a shopping mall. Plus, you're super close to restaurants and the beach. the beds are incredibly comfy, and the rooms are spacious 😊.

The room at J Pattaya - Sha Extra Plus was spacious and had a TV with international channels and a kitchenette. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The location was convenient, within walking distance to Terminal 21.

The morning meal could have been better with more variety.
